If you are getting “Reseat Cartridge” message on your Neopost postage meter, your machine/cartridge contacts might be dirty and therefore, not making connection. The following easy steps might help remedy the problem:
- Take the cartridge out of the machine and with a pencil eraser rub/clean the contacts on the cartridge (they look like little gold squares). Then, make sure to remove any eraser dust left behind on the contacts.
- Next, in the machine, you should see pins that stick out and are spring loaded. With your thumb push them in and rub upward to clean them.
- When you are finished, install the cartridge and the problem should be fixed.
