Replacing the toner for Canon imageCLASS LBP172dw is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Close the paper stopper, and then open the toner cover.
2 . Remove the toner cartridge.
Important: Be sure to…
a) Only hold the toner by the handle and not touch or scratch the drum surface or expose it to light
b) Do not touch the electrical contact
c) Do not touch or scratch the cartridge memory chip
3. Unpack the new toner cartridge
4. Gently shake the toner cartridge five or six times to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge.
5. Remove the protective cover, tape or paper from the new cartridge.
6. Install the toner cartridge.
7. Close the toner cover
