It is recommended that your toner cartridge is used within a year from the date of purchase. When pulling toner cartridges from your inventory, make sure to pull to pull the oldest first. Is is a good idea to place post it notes with dates on toners or utilize other inventory coding system in order to rotate your cartridges properly. Also, it is important to keep your toners in a dry, coll place away from direct sun light.
Do you have Brother printer?
All Brother printers are designed with a 2-piece print cartridge system. The toner is installed and snaps into your drum unit. The drum unit is a plastic “tray” like piece. Please note that it is not necessary to replace your drum each time you replace a toner. Typically, your drum unit needs replacing about every 3 toner replacements or when you notice your print quality to decline or when your printer tells you to replace drum.
