Dell B2360dn Laser Printer Troubleshooting

If you own a Dell B2360dn laser printer and it keeps giving you a message “Reinstall missing or unresponsive cartridge [31.xx] or “Reinstall missing or unresponsive imaging unit [31.xx] even after you replaced either toner or drum, don’t give up on your printer until you try the following steps. Your printer sensor might be bent on the inside of the printer.

  1. Turn printer off and unplug it
  2. Open the front cover
  3. Locate the sensors inside your printer on the right side
  4. You should see 4 prongs/sensors
  5. All of them should be aligned
  6. If one sensor looks bent, use a tool to re-bend it back to be in line with the others

Also, you might want to restart your printer with default settings. In order to do that, just following these steps:

1 . With power On, unplug the power cable from back of printer

2. Wait about 15 seconds

3. Hold down OK and right Side Triangle Button

4. Put power cable back in and keep holding until you see progress indicator.
